The client was managing their sales data manually using Excel, relying on raw CSV files and basic formulas to generate reports.
While this approach worked initially, it quickly became inefficient as the business expanded across multiple retail channels.
There was no centralised system, making it difficult to maintain consistency, accuracy, and visibility across data from different stores.
As a result, reporting was time-consuming, prone to human error, and limited in providing meaningful business insights.

Our Approach
Data Audit & Cleaning
We began by analysing the client’s raw CSV data to identify inconsistencies, missing values, and formatting issues. The dataset was cleaned and standardised to ensure accuracy and reliability for further processing.
Cloud-Based Data Infrastructure
To eliminate data fragmentation, we designed and implemented a secure cloud-based database using Microsoft Azure. This allowed for centralised data storage, improved accessibility, and long-term scalability.
Data Integration & Modelling
We connected the Azure database to Power BI and developed a structured data model. This ensured proper relationships between datasets and enabled efficient data analysis.
ETL Process Implementation
We performed Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes within Power BI to clean, transform, and prepare the data for reporting. All calculations and transformations were validated in a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment.
Dashboard & Report Development
We built interactive dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into sales performance, store-level trends, and overall business metrics. The solution was designed to be user-friendly and visually clear.
Deployment & Ongoing Support
Once validated, the solution was deployed to a production environment. Power BI Pro licences were configured to enable secure report sharing across the organisation. We continue to provide ongoing monthly support and optimisation.
Dashboard & Reporting System
